Vic: Police release name of woman murdered last Tuesday
Police have released the name of a woman who was murdered in a house in Melbourne'seast on Tuesday.
The body of 32-year-old MAXINE FLORENCE HAYES was discovered by her male partner shortlyafter 10pm (AEST) on April 21, when he returned to their home in Scoresby Road, Scoresby.
Police believe Ms HAYES died as a result of an assault, but homicide detectives arestill waiting on autopsy results.
Senior constable CRAIG SHARKIE says initial investigations suggest Ms HAYES died between8pm and 10pm.
Detectives are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anysuspicious activity in the area at the time of the death.
