Fed: Williams says possible threat to US, UK interests in Aust
Australia is on heightened security alert after receiving information of a potential
terrorist threat -- possibly to United States or United Kingdom interests in Australia.
Attorney-General DARYL WILLIAMS says relevant ministers were advised of the information
late yesterday.
He says the information is unsubstantiated and is not specific to any type of threat or location.
And he says there's currently no indication that Australia is at the same risk as the
United States.
