SCHENECTADY -- MVP Health Plan Inc. continued to buck the trend among local health maintenance organizations by earning money this year.
In the third quarter ended Sep. 30, MVP earned $720,728 on revenue of $96.9 million. For the first nine months of the year, MVP earned $2.6 million on revenue of $293.3 million, compared with a loss of $15.3 million on premium revenue of $303.8 million in the same period last year.
