FED: Revised ETS is Labor policy: Combet

CANBERRA, Dec 1 AAP - A revised emissions trading scheme with amendments negotiated
with the coalition is now Labor policy, junior climate change minister Greg Combet says.

Newly installed Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has declared the coalition will no longer
back Labor's carbon pollution reduction scheme.

With Malcolm Turnbull no longer the leader, Mr Combet said Labor was still willing
to stand by changes it negotiated with the coalition, including the exclusion of agriculture
from the scheme.

"That deal is now our policy," Mr Combet told reporters in Canberra.
