Fed: Govt puts Brighton Aged Care on notice
An Adelaide aged care home has been put on notice by the federal government after an
audit raised concerns about neglect.
A government official was sent to Brighton Aged Care on Monday night .. after the Aged
Care Standards and Accreditation Agency raised the alarm.
The agency found the 71-bed home was not complying with 14 of 44 basic accreditation
standards .. including the health .. personal care and lifestyle of residents.
Minister for Aging .. JUSTINE ELLIOT .. says the government will take prompt action
if the home fails to lift its standards.
